Roland reveals the new pocket-sized P-6 Creative Sampler

Roland has just released a new pocket-sized sampler, the P-6 Creative Sampler, as part of its AIRA Compact series. This range includes synths, beat machines, and a voice tweaker.

The P-6 Creative Sampler packs Roland’s renowned sampling technology into a compact, portable design. It offers granular sound design options and a powerful sequencer. Roland promises exceptional sampling and performance capabilities in this small device, which you can take anywhere. A dedicated app allows you to connect to macOS and Windows, manage storage, and more.

The sampler features an onboard mic, intuitive controls, USB-C connectivity, and a variety of MFX effects, including Vinyl Simulator, Lo-fi, and Phaser. Users can customize sounds and access dedicated delay and reverb options. The P-6 lets you chop longer samples into sections for easy triggering or build collections with streamlined Step Sampling.

With advanced granular sampling tools, the P-6 lets you manipulate tiny moments into expansive soundscapes. Adjust grain shape, detune samples, and tweak head position and speed to create new sonic dimensions. It also includes dynamic sequencing with 64-step patterns, motion recording, micro-timing, and sub-steps.

The Roland P-6 Creative Sampler is available now for $219 (£215). You can visit Roland website for more.
