Native Instruments Unveils New Z1 MK2 Traktor Controller
Native Instruments has launched the updated Z1 MK2, a compact Traktor controller with enhanced features.
This portable controller serves as a streamlined mixing hub for Traktor, with essential two-channel controls including three-band EQ, gain knobs per channel, long-throw faders, and a crossfader. The Z1 MK2 includes three OLED screens, an integrated audio interface, and a dedicated stems control layer to manage individual track elements within the software. It also has dedicated controls for nine Traktor FX like filter, reverb, delay, and gater.
The Z1 MK2 can manage up to four decks with switchable layers and offers two audio outputs—RCA for master output and 3.5mm for cueing. It connects via a traditional USB-A port for power and laptop connection.
Despite its size, the Z1 MK2 uses lighting indicators to signal track end, loop mode, and other helpful information, plus customizable light settings for tailored feedback. Small OLED displays show which stems are active, enabling smoother control over drums, vocals, bass, and more.
Priced at £214, the Z1 MK2 is available now. Visit the Native Instruments website for more details and watch the demo below.
