In 1995, Omid began releasing house and techno singles under the names 16B and Phaser on his own labels, Alola and Disclosure. His work quickly caught the attention of notable DJs like Derrick Carter, François Kevorkian, and Sasha. In 1998, he released his debut album "Sounds from Another Room" on Sven Väth’s Eye Q label, which received critical acclaim.
Omid's career expanded into DJing at the request of friends, and he soon became a regular at various club nights. He also co-founded the SOS collective with Desyn Masiello and Demi, securing a residency at London’s Ministry of Sound nightclub. The trio produced the club’s first mix CD in 2010.
Throughout his career, Omid 16B has continued to release influential music and albums, including "How to Live 100 Years," "Silenciety," and "SunTzu." His innovative style blends cinematic, clubby, moody, trippy, and melodious elements, making his music a staple in the electronic music scene.
