PRODUCER/DJ
From: Iran
DJ style: Techno, Progressive House
Ata Mota, originally known as Dede, began his musical career in the early 2000s. Despite the national restrictions in Iran that forced him to keep a low profile to avoid potential issues, Ata’s passion for music never waned. His dedication to spreading positivity and excitement through his music has been a driving force throughout his career. Ata's journey into music started with hip hop, influenced by the 90s hip hop jams of his upbringing.
His initial foray into music production was rooted in hip hop, collaborating with various underground raves. However, his musical direction shifted as he transitioned from hip hop and underground sounds to dance music, specifically focusing on house, tech house, and techno. This shift marked a significant turning point in his career, leading to commercial success. One of Ata's most popular tracks remained on the Ibiza Dance Hits Chart for four years and was frequently played by DJs worldwide.
Despite the challenges, Ata Mota never ceased to evolve musically. He has expanded his experimentation into genres like acid house and hype music, continually pushing the boundaries of his craft.
