Ali Farahani began his musical journey at the age of 14, playing Afro-Cuban percussions. Growing up in Italy, he was deeply influenced by the electronic music scene, which shaped his production style. At 18, he released "Persian Dream" featuring Marco Bonuso, a pioneering fusion track that combined electronic beats with Middle Eastern vibes, gaining international acclaim in 2007. His subsequent release, "Don’t Feel No Shame," a collaboration with DJ Aron, reached number 6 on Beatport’s overall chart in 2008.
In 2011, Ali moved to Los Angeles, where he shifted his focus to more sophisticated, experimental sounds inspired by his roots. After a hiatus from music, he resumed his career, co-founding the Santa Monica-based label Pipe & Pochet with Patrik Khach. Ali Farahani continues to inspire through his innovative productions and DJ performances, showcasing his work across the US and beyond.
