AlphaTheta, the parent company behind Pioneer DJ, has introduced the DDJ-FLX2, a beginner-friendly, two-channel controller.
The DDJ-FLX2 is designed for aspiring DJs and is compatible with rekordbox DJ, Algoriddim djay, and Serato DJ Lite on both laptops and mobile devices. Through these apps, it also supports streaming services like SoundCloud Go+, TIDAL, Beatport Streaming, and Apple Music (subscriptions may apply).
This new model follows the DDJ-200, Pioneer DJ’s popular entry-level controller for bedroom DJs and small parties. It features two compact jog wheels, cue and play buttons, three-band EQ, gain control, short-throw faders, a crossfader, and eight performance pads per deck for basic mixing.
Unlike the DDJ-200, which relied on USB-only audio output, the FLX2 adds a 3.5mm output for direct stereo connection. Other features include Bluetooth for wireless connection to mobile devices or speakers.
Priced at £159, the DDJ-FLX2 is now available. Visit AlphaTheta’s website to learn more.
