AlphaTheta, the company behind Pioneer DJ, has launched the HDJ-F10 wireless headphones. They connect to a SonicLink transmitter that plugs into your DJ mixer, controller, or any other device, sending audio with near-zero latency.
Bluetooth, common in consumer headphones, introduces too much latency for DJing. The HDJ-F10 fixes this, offering AlphaTheta’s first latency-free wireless headphones for DJs.
Designed for the booth, the HDJ-F10 delivers high-volume playback and tight low-end with 40mm drivers and a bass reflex air duct. This setup gives DJs precise control over the bass before mixing.
The headphones also support Bluetooth for smart devices, noise cancelling for travel, and include a built-in mic for calls. Battery life lasts up to nine hours with SonicLink and 30 hours on standard Bluetooth. You can wire the headphones if the battery dies, and both the headphones and transmitter charge via USB-C.
The HDJ-F10 costs £369 and is available now. Check the AlphaTheta website for more details.
This release follows the launch of AIAIAI’s TMA-2 DJ Wireless headphones.
