AIAIAI introduces the world’s first wireless DJ headphones

AIAIAI has introduced the TMA-2 DJ Wireless, which the Danish audio brand claims is the world’s first wireless DJ headphones.

Designed for DJing, the headphones provide 25 hours of battery life and strong sound isolation in loud booth environments. While consumer headphones have used wireless tech for years, most rely on Bluetooth, which adds noticeable latency. This delay isn’t an issue for casual listening, but for DJs, where timing matters, Bluetooth headphones fall short because they can’t sync with the monitoring.

The TMA-2 DJ Wireless avoids this problem with proprietary hardware that connects to any DJ mixer or controller through the headphone port. This setup delivers a latency-free signal. AIAIAI founder Frederik Jørgensen said, “For years, wireless technology meant compromising on performance, but with our ultra-low latency technology, we can finally offer both freedom and precision.”

The headphones also support Bluetooth for casual listening and offer a wired option. Priced at €300, the TMA-2 DJ Wireless will ship in early 2025. More information is available on AIAIAI’s website.
